The Reference Library
Libraries have a long history of maintaining reference books for inquiring minds, and our library is no exception. Dictionaries, encyclopedias, medical texts, and more can be found in the reference section in the Reading and Wi-Fi room. Unfortunately, these books are for in-library use only. Genealogy records are kept in a separate room, accessible by request. Some of our reference books are listed below.

Tennessee Jurisprudence, R 384.68 TEN, What you need to know about the Tennessee legal system.
National Geographic Atlas of the World, 1995, R 912 NAT, On top of the first set of shelves. Maps for every part of our world.
Other reference book topics include Almanacs, animals, art, authors, aviation, Chilton car manuals, cooking, finance, gardening, Guinness Book of World Records, literature, medical, music, plants, and poetry. This is not a complete list.
Please feel free to browse our reference library for information you may need. There are plenty of tables and chairs for your use, and the heating and air conditioning make for a comfortable environment. And of course Wi-Fi is free! If you need help finding something, please ask at the front desk.
