Rangers roll over Longhorns 11-3

Unaka scored seven times over the first two innings to knock off Johnson County Middle School 11-3. Mistakes hurt the Junior High Horns in the early going.
They made three errors and walked two in the first inning that led to five runs.
The Longhorns would score one in the third and two in the fifth.
Bella Miller went 2-for-2 and scored twice for Johnson County. Margaret was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Hannah Brooks drove in a run and went 1-for-3. Lauren Wright and Abby Cornett shared the other two.
Im disappointed because we didnt play near our potential, said JCMS head coach Greg Reece. You cant have a slow start like we did and win.
