Mountain Six names All-Conference team

The Mountain Six named its All-Region 1 3A All-Conference team on Friday, and seven Longhorns received first-team honors.
Curtis Lowe, Colt Moody, Ethan Bower, Ricky Fenner, John Stout, Danny Medley, and Jia Webster were the recipients. Webster was also named to the All-Academic team.
Stacy Greer, Lucas Phillips, Michael Oxentine, Logan Gilley, and Stephen Bunn were named to the second team.

players receiving first-team honors and the schools
where they had played. Chuckey-Doak’s Ben
Murphy was named coach
of the year, and his quarterback Matthew Palazzo was voted as the player of the year.

Defensive MVP: L.J. Mitchell, Unicoi County
Offensive Lineman MVP: Corwin Ramsey, Chuckey-Doak

Specialist of the Year: Miguel Vasques, Unicoi County
Newcomer of the Year: Zeke McDonald, North Greene
Freshman of the Year: Nathan Norton, Chuckey-Doak
