Longhorn trio selected to All Mountain East squad

By Tim Chambers

The Three Rivers Conference selected their All Conference teams and a trio of Longhorns made the elite squads.
Blake Atwood gathered Newcomer of the year while Bud Atwood was named All Conference.
Michala Cretsinger was the only Lady Longhorn selected to the All Conference team that was named by the league’s coaches.
Atwood averaged 13 points per game, 4 assists and shot 85 percent from the foul line.
Icenhour led the team in scoring with a 13.7 average. He was also one of the top three-point shooters in the league.
Cretsinger joined the 1000 point club for her career by putting up some dazzling numbers. She averaged 15 points per game and dished out 3.8 assists. She also contributed six rebounds per contest and two steals.
Nathan Arnold and Sean Lewis was named to the honorable mention squad. No Lady Longhorn was tabbed for that honor.
