Lil' Horns upended by Cloudland

Johnson County found the going tough in the Mighty Mites and Junior Pee Wee divisions on Saturday. The Mighty Mites fell to Cloudland 33-8 while the Junior Pee Wee team was defeated 19-6.

The Longhorns had a hard time stopping Isaiah Adams and the Highlander Express on Saturday.
Adams scored three touchdowns and ran for 150 yards leading Cloudland to the victory.
His first touchdown came on a 75-yard run in the first quarter.
Johnson County tied the game at 6-6 on a two-yard plunge  by Carson Jennings. At that point Adams took over.
He broke the deadlock with an 11-yard touchdown, then slithered free for a 52-yard TD run in the third quarter.
Sully Eli had a 72 yard interception return for a score in addition to a 20-yard touchdown run.
Caden Jones, Cooper Beam and Nicholas Laparde played well for the Highlanders’ defense. Logan Hughes provided a fumble recovery.
Carson Jennings rushed for 90 yards that topped the Longhorns.
