The junior varsity squad was the only Johnson County team that could pull out a win on Friday at Elizabethton. Sean Lewis fired in 24 points leading the Horns to a two-point victory.
Elizabethton led 11-8 after one but rallied in the second quarter to take a 23-18 halftime lead.
Lewis tossed in nine points in the quarter while Daniel Cunningham provided six.
The game see-sawed back and forth in the second half and would go down to the wire.
Lewis had 10 points in the quarter. Dawson Snyder hit a clutch three to keep the Horns in front.
A pair of free throws by Ian Tester with .18 seconds remaining put the Horns up by five and secured the victory.
Cunningham ended the game with 12 points. Blake Atwood and Dawson tallied six apiece.
Eric Wilson and Carter Everett scored 14 and 13 points respectively for the Cyclones.
