JCMS Baseball loses two tough games

The JCMS Baseball Team had a difficult week, losing games against Providence Academy and Happy Valley.
The Longhorns lost to Providence 6-2 Thursday
JCMS fell behind 6-1 after three innings and though the bats never really got going, Warren Kerley came through with an outstanding effort in relief, allowing just one hit while striking out three batters in three innings of work.
Jake Greer did all he could to start a rally as he led off the fourth inning with a double.
In addition to Greer, Cody Bailie, Logan Sargent and Sam Icenhour all had hits for JCMS while Alex Tressler added an RBI.
On Friday, the Longhorns lost to Happy Valley 12-4.
Kerley, Payton Fenner and Sam Icenhour each had two hits while Ty Robinson had one for JCMS.
