Final youth football sign-ups this Saturday

The Johnson County Youth League will hold its final signups for football on Saturday, July 16 from 10 am until 4 pm at Ralph Stout Park. The signups are from ages 5-12 but four-year olds can sign up too if their parent will sign a waiver. The cost is $35 for each player. Fundraisers will be held to offset the cost for uniforms.
Any child that signs up must have an issued ID card and a physical.
This year’s coaches for football and cheerleading are Mitey Mites, ages (5-6), Andrew Hensley and Rachel Hatley; Grasscutters, ages (7-8), Austin Atwood and Amanda Mullins; Junior Pee Wee, ages (9-10), Travis Brown and Jacinda Triplett; Pee Wee, ages (11-12) Mark Jennings and Chasity Shupe.
Conditioning week for football and cheerleading begins on July 18, (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) from 6 pm through 8:30 pm.
This is mandatory for all football players and cheerleaders.
All home games will be played on the Johnson County High School field.
The youth football camp sponsored by Johnson County High School football team and coaches will take place on July 30 at the football field. All players are urged to attend. Head Coach Don Kerley and his staff will spend the day working with each participant on fundamentals that will help them for the upcoming season. The high school players will be on hand to assist.
