Sarah Renee Kiser Wilcox, 29, Mountain City, loving wife and daughter went home to be with her Lord Saturday, June 20, 2015 in the Johnson County Community Hospital. A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, she had lived most of her life in Elizabethton before moving to Mountain City three months ago. Sarah was a 2003 graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended Northeast Community College. She was employed as a Certified Orthopedic Technician at Watauga Orthopedics and most recently at Circe Medical Services, Johnson City. Sarah attended Calvary Baptist Church, Mountain City.
Survivors include her husband: Chip Wilcox; her step-children: Tyler, Dalton and Lily Wilcox; her parents: James and Teresa Roberts Kiser; a brother and sister-in-law: James and Chelsea Kiser; her father and mother-in-law: Robert & Jana Lee Wilcox; her grandmother: Lois Donnelly; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steven Spencer and Rev. Tim Gouge officiating. Graveside service and interment were at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 in the Johnson Cemetery, Mountain City. Active pallbearers were Jeff Wilcox, Greg Wilcox, Jason Bunting, Travis Kiser, Jack Kiser, Jerry Roberts, Rick Ramsey and Tim Baumgardner. Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Timms and Josh Scalf.
