Phillip Sandy Dugger, age 81 of Moody, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born on February 6, 1935 in Butler, Tennessee to the late Joe and Myra Dugger. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dugger was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.
Mr. Dugger was a graduate of Johnson County High School. He was a United States Veteran, having honorably served in the Navy for 10 years on the Saratoga. He was a member of the Moody Masonic Lodge #592 and Zamora Temple, where he was active in the Color Guard. Mr. Dugger was a charter member of the Moody Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beatrice Moore Dugger; his loving mother-in-law, Annas Moore; daughters: Stephanie and Deborah; sons: John, Jeff and wife Tommie and Herbie; sisters: Betty Ferris, Roma Corey, Carolyn Sadler and Evelyn Gedman; brothers: Richard and wife Carolyn, Ronnie and wife Phyllis, Gary and wife Cookie, John and wife Linda; granddaughters: Morganne, Heather, Savannah and Cameron; grandsons: Devin and Drake, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dugger was interred at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Alabama.
