Minnie Belle Farmer Harlow, age 89, wife of Grady Harlow of 204 Westwind Road, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Ashe County, NC on December 25, 1921, Mrs. Harlow was a daughter of the late Foster Carl Farmer and Lillie Ann Denny Farmer. She lived in Bluff City, TN and worked in Bristol, TN for many years where she worked in textiles at Burlington Industries and the L. C. King Mfg. She was a member of Bluff City United Methodist Church in TN and after moving to Anderson in 2004, she attended Harvest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home; son, Carl Harlow of Florence, AL; daughter, Sharon Hall and her husband, John of Anderson, SC; brothers, Cecil Farmer of Mountain City, TN and Harold Farmer of Elkhart, IN; sisters, Helen Franklin of Bristol, TN and Betty Jean Ward of Mountain City, TN; three grandchildren, Chad Harlow, Britney Harlow and Andrew Hall.
She was predeceased by her brother, Haden Farmer.
The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home and was officiated by the Reverend David Neal. Interment followed in M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm prior to the funeral.
