Mr. Luther Hubert Jackson, age 77, of Macclenny, Florida died Monday, Nov. 5, in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, Florida. He had resided in Macclenny, Florida for the past five years, having moved from Boone, North Carolina. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Bessie Hooper Jackson, two brothers, Roy Jackson and Bobby Jackson of Dunn, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davis Jackson of Macclenny, Florida: Two daughters, Alice Baldassaro (Jason) of Slidell, La. And Amanda (Craig) Simpkins of Macclenny, Florida: Three sons, Scott Davis of Darien, Georgia, Timmy Parker of Key West, Florida and Roger (Tracey) Parker of Palm Coast, Florida: One sister, Marie Johnson of Dunn, N.C.: One brother, Poole (Judy) Jackson of Dunn, N.C.: 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackson will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 24, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Saturday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
