Lindsay Anne Freeman, 24, of Clinton, NJ died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on the Baltimore Beltway. Ms. Freeman was born September 29, 1986 in Flemington, NJ, the daughter of Scott and Susan Freeman of Clinton, NJ. Lindsay resided in Baltimore, Maryland for the last two years, working full time as an accountant while pursuing her Master's Degree in accounting from Towson University. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2009 and graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to attending URI, Lindsay was a 2005 graduate of North Hunterdon High School. While in college, Lindsay was an active member in the Women's mentoring group, WOWW, where she assisted in the development of countless young women.
Lindsay is survived by her loving husband of seven months, Lt. Justin North, USMC; her parents, Scott and Susan Freeman; her brother, Keith Freeman, and her grandparents, Isaac and Esther Spindanger.
Lindsay was a woman who truly embodied the lines of this song – “I’m what I am, and I’m what I’m not, but I sure am happy with what I’ve got. I live to love and laugh a lot, and that’s all I need.”
She lived her entire life with a smile that was truly contagious and everyone she ever came across was better for it.
Lindsay is the niece of Janet Freeman and Ruby Oliver of Mountain City.
