Justin M. Robinson, age 74, of 1950 Bulldog Road Trade, TN passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1938 in Trade, TN to the late George Washington Robinson and Edith Reece Robinson. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Boone, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Hodge and Dona Wilson. His hobbies included spending time with his grandkids and farming.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Louise Dunn Robinson of the home; three daughters, Rebecca” Beck” Lunceford and husband David of Mountain City, TN, Karen ”Gig” Grant and husband Donnie of Ronda, NC, Teresa ”Short” Floyd and husband Jim of Pendleton, SC; one son, David ”Diddle” Robinson of Trade, TN; three sisters, Violet Mast of North East, MD, Geneva Hurd of Mountain City, TN, Helen Bumgardner of Trade, TN; one brother, Charles Robinson of Trade, TN; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friend who was like a brother, George Moore and J.C. Anderson and his church family also survive.
Funeral services for Justin Robinson were conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Minister Nathan Ward and Minister J.C. Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment were conducted on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the Dunn Cemetery. Active pallbearers were grandsons and granddaughters, Kevin “Smurf” Osborne, Darrell Reece, and Michael Fritts.
