Charles M. Robinson

Charles M. Robinson, age 78, of 2030 Bulldog Road Trade, TN passed away peacefully Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Johnson County Community Hospital, Mountain City, TN. He loved to work on old cars and woodworking. He was a member of Centerview Christian Church. Mr. Robinson was born October 14, 1934 in Trade, TN and was a son of the late George W. Robinson and Edith Reece Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Ellen Carol Robins; grandchildren: William Isaacs and Jennifer Holman; sisters: Georgia Hodge, Geneva Hurd and Dora Wilson; brothers: Justin Robinson and an infant brother; and son-in-law John Wayne Holman.
Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Ivalee Brown Robinson; daughters: Mary Holman of Lenoir, NC: Sharon Laws and husband Gene of Villas, NC; son: Jeffrey Robinson and fiancée Debra Ruediger of Trade, TN; grandchildren: Wesley Isaacs, Charlotte Corum and husband Jessie; Stevie Holman, Christopher Holman, Dakota Laws, Gary Laws, Jonathan Arnold, Roy Fritz, Alicia Ruediger, Olivia Robinson, Brooklynne Robinson; great grandchildren: Kyle Isaacs, Zaidin Corum, Carson Greene, Kailey Holman, Hailey Shepherd; sisters: Violet Mast of Baltimore, MD and Helen Bumgardner of Trade, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Reece officiating. The family received friends from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment followed in Reece Cemetery, on Bulldog Road, in Trade, TN. Active pallbearers were Jessie Corum, Jerry Hodge, David Diddle Robinson, Ray Jenkins and Joey Laws. Honorary pallbearers were Danny May, Keith Wilson, Paul May, David Holman and Gene Laws.
At other times friends may call at the residence 2030 Bulldog Road, Trade, TN. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain City Home Health or Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
