Alexander Peresada, 85, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away March 26, 2016. Son of Wasily and Anne Peresada, he was born in Watertown, Connecticut on October 5, 1930. He graduated from Watertown High School. He was in the Korean War. He and his wife left Connecticut and found their little piece of heaven in Mountain City, Tennessee, where they resided for the next 38 years, before moving back to Florida in 2014 to be close to family.
Al enjoyed all sports, fished, hunted, RV’d and traveled around the world with the “love of his life,” Marge. He loved working around his farm, building, haying, and always staying busy. He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with anyone he met.
Predeceased by his parents, brother Andrew, sisters Augusta DeSorbo and Amelia Iorio. He is survived by his wife of 60 plus years, Marguerite Petitti Peresada, daughter Lori Bishop and son Tim Peresada. Grandchildren: Blair, Garrett, Alex Kikta and Tim J. Peresada, and nine great-grandchildren, also his brother Harry Peresada of Thomaston, Connecticut and sister Nina Hallock of Cheshire, Connecticut, and also lifelong friends, Dave and Diane Dispoto of Watertown, Connecticut.
