Rebuilding with Broken Pieces ladies retreat coming up in November

The overwhelming feeling of being broken and desperately reaching out for God to put the pieces back together is a feeling that most women will experience at some point in their lives.  Whether the feeling of helplessness is caused by physical or emotional distress, God is always the answer and He is always faithful.  Helping develop that rebuilding relationship with God will be the emphasis of study when the Women by Design Ministry holds their “Rebuilding with Broken Pieces” Ladies Retreat at Red Tail Mountain Resort on November 6th-8th.
The event will be a gathering of women from the Carolinas and Tennessee as they come together to worship God and learn more about His promises.
“As women we are pulled in many directions and we seldom take time for ourselves.  We speed through life limping and broken.  I am specifically praying for healing, hope and restoration for the broken,” expressed Michelle Campbell, founder of Women by Design. “2014 was a difficult year for me personally,” she further explained.  “I felt as though I had been smashed into a million pieces.  I can remember asking God, what do I do with all of this pain?  This theme is based on my personal journey with God to rebuild based on the book of Nehemiah.”
Speakers at the event will be sharing their personal stories of feeling broken and the miraculous restoration that came from God.  Two of the featured speakers will be Linda and Jennifer Barrick. The Barrick family suffered a traumatic car accident which left Jennifer in a coma for weeks and doctors preparing her family for the worst.  Her story of God’s miraculous healing hand and the power of His word has garnered them attention and the opportunity to share their testimony on national shows such as Fox & Friends, The Today Show, and CBN.
“You will be amazed at the Barricks’ powerful story and see with your own eyes a miracle as Jenn stands before you,” shared Campbell.  “I promise, this will be an event you don’t want to miss.”
In addition to providing an atmosphere of worship through acoustic music, Courtney Dean will also be sharing her testimony of healing and teaching on the book of Nehemiah.
The ladies of Mountain City have a great opportunity to experience this weekend of learning and worship in the beautiful, local setting of the Red Tail Mountain Resort.  Campbell explained how she came to choose Red Tail as the setting for the retreat. “I found the venue online and immediately scheduled a visit.  After meeting with the Habermehl’s, I knew I was in the right place. They shared they are in the process of ‘rebuilding’ and ‘restoring’ the beautiful resort.  I stood amazed.”
