DOD executive tells Nightline success story at recent conference

Lieutenant General William Phillips, Principal Military Deputy, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), included Nightline, Inc. of Mountain City, TN in his presentation at the recent Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) conference held at Aberdeen, Maryland. LTG Phillips told the audience of senior military and business executives that Nightline “ is a small company, started by just a couple of folks, now doing world wide effort on both military and commercial versions of night vision devices.” He further stated that Nightline “began this work in support of CECOM and Night Vision Labs and has become World Class in providing night vision devices”.
Nightline is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Image Intensification systems both military and commercial headquartered in Mountain City, TN. Nightline has provided over 80,000 systems both head/helmet and weapon mounted products to over 40 countries. LTG Phillips also highlighted Nightline’s recent award of $6.4M Infinite Delivery Infinite Quantity (IDIQ) by Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. This contract covers a five-year period and provided spares kits in support of the night vision equipment in the US Military.
