Come and experience ‘The Magic of Christmas in a Small Town’ this year

Come and experience “The Magic of Christmas in a Small Town” by taking part in the annual Christmas Tree Lighting on the Courthouse Lawn. This years event will take place on December 5 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
This annual Christmas Tree Lighting is primarily organized by Nancy Garrick and it is her sincere hope that the event will continue to be a time-honored Johnson County tradition.
Reverend Duane Dickson of First Christian Church will give the invocation followed by several performances by Vocal Intensity (an elite singing group comprised of the best of the best from the Johnson County Middle School Singers). Directed by Nancy Davis, Vocal Intensity will perform Carol of the Bells, Sing We All Noel, and A Wreath of Carols. Mayor Potter will also speak at the event and Andy Wright will read The Legend of the Christmas Tree.
Please consider joining members of the Johnson County Community on the courthouse lawn (222 West Main Street, Mountain City) as they welcome a new holiday season. Refreshments will be served at the event.
