Caroline Miller ordered to have no animals

Caroline Miller of Johnson County recently appeared in court after being charged on November 15th with nine counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, along with six counts of cruelty to animals. She was appointed a public defender and was ordered not to have any cats or dogs in her possession or control as part of her bond, which had been set at $54,000.
After a phone call to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy and neighbors discovered multiple dead animals, including cats, dogs and a rabbit. There were also six dogs found alive in various locations tied up in and around the home.
Miller is due to appear again in court on February 10.
