Barlow/Sutton Car and Bike Show raise $4,125 for medical scholarships

Downtown Mountain City was filled with smiling faces and shining chrome as the 5th Annual Joe Barlow/Kim Sutton Car and Bike Show took place on July 31st.  Memories of good friends and fast rides were shared by those who came together to show support for the Barlow/Sutton families and appreciate great moments in automotive history.  This event sponsored by the Johnson County Knights is always highly anticipated by not only car and bike enthusiasts but also by those who enjoy spending an evening visiting with neighbors and friends.  
A wide variety of cars, trucks, and motorcycles were on proud display on Main Street.  Meticulous owners polished their vehicles and answered a plethora of questions as inquisitive automotive fans looked over large motors and colorful paint jobs.  Race cars, classic cars, motorcycles, fully customized rides, and some fresh off the showroom floor were all available to admire and inspect.  
Also featured at the event were local craftsmen, food vendors, and others making their products available to potential patrons.  
Organizers of the event had the informational stations well staffed with friends and family of the Barlows and Suttons on hand to answer any questions about the event and its purpose, sell memorabilia of the event, as well as making available raffle tickets to those wishing for a chance to win a 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster and other fun prizes.
