Trecia Watson is concerned about exploitation of wildlife for tourism

Dear Editor:

Three Bears General Store in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has an open bear pit with five live bears being exploited and starved for tourists’ entertainment. This place of torment and other places that exploit animals for self gain MUST be shut down  immediately.
It is inhumane to cage a wild animal. This is no longer entertainment for most people, but a sign of torture and abuse.  I am asking that congressmen and senators and all animal lovers step up to the plate and make a move to help caged wild animals go free.  Please seek legislation that would make the caging of all wild animals illegal in our fine state of Tennessee.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.  Treat animals the way you want to be treated.  God will bless you for it.  Amen!
