n loss of some form. Oct. 15 is the National Pregnancy/Infant Loss Day. At 7 pm, on that day, candles are lit across our nation in remembrance of those short lives we hold in our hearts. Last Thursday, we added our own lights to that number.
This outreach, now known as Community Memorial for our Babies (CMB), will continue to host these services on Oct. 15. A website is under construction. We now have a sitting spot in the cherubs garden of Sunset Memorial Park (cemetery behind Burger King). A monument project was unveiled at the service.
Many thanks to those that made the second annual Community Memorial Service a success.
We are grateful for our partners: Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, Mountain City Funeral Home, Pregnancy Support Center of Johnson County, Community Church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and to our Lord that continues to touch hearts through this.
