Nave talks of salvation and the end of days

The History Channel produced a program showing throughout history, 2012 was named by many as the end of time. Hopi Indians, Mother Shipton, Nostradamus, Merlin the Magician, Sir Isaac Newton and others predicted 2012. Receiving the most attention is the Mayan calendar which ends on December 21st, 2012. Dr. Jack Van Impe said there are 120 Bible verses such as found in Psalms 104, Isaiah 45, Ephesians 3 and Ecclesiastes 1 that say it’s a world without end. He said a few verses say end of the world when the correct translation is end of the age. The Bible says the meek will inherit the earth and Jesus will reign for a thousand years on earth after the seven year tribulation, so the good news is the world won’t end in 2012.
However, the bad news is that the Bible tells us during the seven tribulation one-third of the earth will burn and half the people will die. If the U.N. votes to give Palestinians statehood and divide Israel and Israel is pushed by the world to give up land in December, God might send massive disasters at the end of 2012. Many might think this is the end of the world and be deceived. Also if countries attack Israel in December, God may send massive disasters on their countries. The Bible tells us God is going to destroy nations that try to take land from Israel. So while the world won’t end, some nations and cities will. There will be war in the Middle East soon and Egypt and Damascus, Syria are predicted to be destroyed.(Ezekiel 29, Joel 3, Isaiah 17) The earth will have greater earthquakes and tsunamis than happened to Japan days after they went against Israel and pushed for a Palestinian state and gave millions of dollars to the Palestinians. The increasing disasters are at the same time judgment from God, a call to repent and signs of the soon return of Jesus. It would be wise not to live on the coast or on earthquake faults. It would be wisest to as Amos 4 says, “prepare to meet your God!” Then you won’t have to try to survive the tribulation and you will do something far better than secede from the union, when Jesus says, “come up here,” you will ascend from the earth!
