Musick thanks Sycamore Shoals for dilent and life-saving care

Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter to inform people of the quality of care provided by one institution that I am personally involved with and who more than likely saved my life. I am talking about Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
When I arrived on Mother’s Day, 2013, I was in bad shape. My heart condition had deteriorated to the point my body was full of fluid, my legs were swollen and my heart condition has worsened beyond what I had expected. This group of individuals doctors and staff did not hesitate to assist me. I have spent time in other medical institutions but the professionalism and caring demeanor of these people far surpassed any care I had received before.
They made me feel more like family than a patient, thus I was able to return to my home healthier than when I had left. I went from not remembering my son driving me home, not fitting into my shoes to being a responsive, happier person.
This is why I hope you will publish this letter, to let people know they have a way to receive top notch care in this region, maybe not the largest but with the largest of hearts to care for their patients in the most caring and professional manner.
I feel in my heart the doctors and staff truly care about their patients at this hospital.

Thank you very much,
Peggie A. Musick
