Heritage Hall would like to thank all those who so generously supported our “Mothers and Others” Bake Sale on May 6. This event is held each year to raise funds for Heritage Hall programs for Johnson County students. This year the Bake Sale raised over $2000 for children’s programming.
We especially want to thank the First United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their facility and Mountain City Funeral Home for underwriting the airtime during the bake sale. As always, the WMCT staff did a great job keeping things lively and interesting as the listening audience was updated on bake sale items. We had many of our government leaders visit, and we appreciate their support through their endorsements of Heritage Hall’s children’s programming and their contributions.
It is the wonderful bakers of Johnson County who make this sale possible each year. We appreciate your generosity and support. Special thanks goes to our local businesses who contributed items: Suba’s, Vistas at Red Tail, Elaine’s Country Store, Silver Keys Bed and Breakfast, and Sassy Cats. Finally, we would like to thank all those businesses and individuals who came and purchased items. We so appreciate your commitment to our youth in Johnson County. We hope you enjoyed the cakes, pies, homemade bread, cookies, and other goodies!
