JCCF thankful for all the supporters of the 11th Johnson County talent show

Dear Editor: The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) would like to thank all the sponsors who supported the 11th Annual Johnson County Talent Show. These businesses, organizations and individuals made it possible for talented young people to do a public performance as well as financially supporting JCCF. Platinum Plus Sponsors of $500 or more were Farmers State Bank, Triple C Transportation Services, and Danny Herman Trucking, Inc. Platinum Sponsors of $200 were Maymead, Inc., Mountain City Medical Center(in memory of Bill Eller & Emily Millsaps), Peter and Joy Wachs, Swan James, Herman Enterprises LLC, Bob and Minnie Miller, Johnson County Bank, Dr. Don & Carole Tarr, Heritage Hall, Inc., and Mark Sijthoff. Gold Sponsorships of $100 included Johnson County Arts Council, Inc. Kids 1st, Mullins Real Estate and Auction, Mountain City Funeral Home, Levi Retiree Club, Elizabethton Federal Savings Bank, Larry and Brenda Potter, Positive Thinkers, Betty Brown, and Wednesday Music Club. Silver Sponsors of $50 were Mike and Temple Reece and Johnson County Farm Bureau. Much appreciation goes to Hardee’s and McDonalds of Mountain City for providing gift certificates for students who received Honorable Mention. We encourage people to support these businesses who in turn support local events. In addition, the talent show would not have been as nearly as successful without the help of the music teachers, Kim Franklin, Charles Lentz, Nancy Davis, and Michael Eggers. We also appreciate the coverage given to it by The Tomahawk and WMCT. Also, much appreciation goes out to the volunteers at Heritage Hall who donated their time to help the program run smoothly. JCCF is made up of volunteers who love Johnson County and give their time and money to support scholarships, youth leadership, schools, and non-profit organizations in Johnson County. Anyone wishing to make a donation to JCCF or discuss leaving something in his/her will to JCCF would be much appreciated. Respectively,

Carol Stout,

Talent Show Chair JCCF
