D. D. Nave reflects on Peace Day and the Feast of Trumphets

Dear Editor:
The United Nations (U.N.) established The International Day of
Peace (“Peace Day”) and it’s observed around the world each year on
September 21. The theme is peace and safety. Peace Day is on the same
day as the Feast of Trumpets day in 2017. The Bible says in
1Thessalonians 5, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then
sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child
and they shall not escape.” It would be a good idea to stock up extra
food in case all the power goes off or other disasters.   Since the
eclipse and in September more things potentially related to Bible
prophecy have taken place or could take place than ever before. Two
major hurricanes, earthquake swarms, 8.2 earthquake hit Mexico and
wildfires roaring all over the northwest U.S. All the signs of the
last days are converging at the same time. Bible prophecy is happening
right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are
happening more frequently and more intently. Hurricane Harvey broke
the all-time record for rainfall in the U.S. The Hurricanes happened
around Labor Day which is a good time to have end time birth pains and
Hurricane Harvey was like the water breaking just before birth. Jesus
gives the imminent time for his return in Luke 21. The Bible correctly
says Israel would be scattered into all nations and Jerusalem would be
under gentile control until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled.
Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948 and retook Jerusalem on June 7,
1967. Colossians 2:17 says the holy days( seven feast) are a shadow of
things to come. The first feast Passover was fulfilled by Jesus when
he died on the exact day of Passover. Jesus fulfilled the second
feast, Unleavened Bread when he was laid in the grave on the exact
time of Unleavened Bread. Jesus rose from the grave on the exact day
of First Fruits the third feast. The Holy Spirit came exactly when
Pentecost (the fourth feast) was fully come. It only makes sense that
Jesus will follow suit in the same pattern at His rapture and second
coming. Meaning all the major Christian events will happen during the
Fall feast days. The next feast the fifth feast is the Feast of
Trumpets. Because of this pattern most prophecy experts believe the
rapture will happen during the Feast of Trumpets which the Jews call
the feast that no one knows the day or hour of because it’s when they
new moon is seen over Jerusalem. There’s some disagreement but most
believe the Feast of Trumpets is around September 21 this year.
1Thessalonians 5 says, “…ye brethren are not in darkness that that
day should overtake you as a thief.” Sadly 2Peter 3 says, “that there
shall come in the last day scoffers, walking after their own lust and
saying where is the promise of his coming?” Are you ready and watching
for Jesus return or are you a scoffer? Watchers get a crown and
scoffers get to try to survive the seven year tribulation.   The
conclusion of the, and websites is that it looks like the best scenario
for the rapture of Christians by Jesus is on the Feast of Trumpets
around the September 21, 2017 time frame. It’s not an absolute
prediction. It’s also the best scenario for sudden destruction to
come. There’s a convergence in September with final signs and most
importantly signs that are cosmic. If Jesus comes it will be a
September to remember! One things for sure. “It won’t be as long as it
has been.” Even so come Lord Jesus!
