Submitted by Nancy Tester
The class of 1955 celebrated their 63rd class reunion on September 8th at Farmer’s BBQ and Grill. Twenty-four classmates attended with thirteen guests. Mrs. Evelyn Cook spoke, remembering the class of’55 and reminding us of the many cultural opportunities available in our high school town of Mountain City. Jim Grayson sang a beautiful rendition of “The Wayfaring Stranger”. Many stories were told as we recalled our high school days, caught up on the present, and remembered those who are gone.
Special guests: Della Mac Larson, Floyd Hampton, Carl Farmer, Blackie Blevins, Herman Tester, Virginia Greer, Laura Johnson, Carolyn Lowe, Shelby Mahan, Georgia
Pardue, Ima Jean Payne, Thelma Lipford and Mrs. Evelyn Cook.
A special time was had
by all.
