closet to the public
Calvary Baptist Church now has a clothes closet ministry. It will be open to the public on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. If you are or know of anyone in need, please come visit us on Tuesday nights in our Life Center. They are located at
1324 Cold Springs Road in Mountain City.

God’s Country Church opens new thrift store
New thrift store now open at 996 Crossroads Drive in Mountain City at God’s Country Church. A huge selection of merchandise. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week from 9:00am to 3:00 pm daily.

Thanksgiving Service to be held at Vaughts Gap Baptist Church

Mountain City Presbyterian Church to hold welcome reception for new pastor
Mountain City Presbyterian Church welcomed Con Sauls as our new Pastor on October 1.  An official welcome reception will be held for Con and Nancy Sauls on Sunday, December 6, from noon to 2 pm at Mountain City Presbyterian Church. The public is invited to attend.  

The Landmark Quartet Singers to sing
at Cobbs Creek Baptist Church
The pastor and congregation of Cobbs Creek Baptist church invites you to their 5th Sunday Night Service as The Landmark Quartet Singers will be singing on November 29th at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 150 Church Street in Butler, Tennessee 37640.

Song Service at First United
Methodist Church
The “Fifth Sunday Fellowship in Song” service will be held at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. The worship service will include congregational singing of familiar hymns and uplifting music by the church choir, directed by Judy Walsh, and special guest, the Generation Excellent choir from Ashe County, North Carolina. Generation Excellent is a group of home-schooled youth that provide a musical ministry under the direction of Pam and Jeff Miller. These young people are committed to sharing Christ with others as they are bold for God.
This group has shared their time and talents around the area and are often seen in programs presented by the community of West Jefferson. Members of the group are Isaac Kolseth, Josiah Kolseth, Owen Kolseth, Caleb Miller, Noelle Miller, Shayla Miller, Nathaniel Padgett, Leah Privette, Quinn Privette, and Molly Russell.
