Seventh-Day Adventist
to hold health program
Seventh-day Adventists have a hospital and health institute at Wildwood, Georgia. Many people go there for relief of chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Many times these diagnoses can be reversed through a change in diet and lifestyle. Last year about twelve students from Wildwood came to Mountain City and presented the program “Goodbye, Diabetes” at the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Cold Springs Road. A lot of good information and help was gained by those in attendance.
This year international students will be back from Wildwood College of Health Evangelism, on Thanksgiving weekend, November 28-29, to present another health program. Friday night, 6 p.m., they will discuss high blood pressure, the silent killer. Why is it so dangerous? How can you treat it? Can you prevent it? On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. , they will have a special presentation on how to boost your immune system. There are many dangerous viruses out there. What can you do to be better prepared for health epidemics? Can you treat the common cold naturally? This will be followed by a special holiday cooking class, with free samples.
