Mountain View Baptist Church to hold revival
Monday, October 6th through Friday, October 10th beginning at 7:00 pm each night. There will special singing each night with Rev. Lloyd Day, pastor of Sturgills Baptist Church preaching. Pastor Denton Hart and the congregation invites everyone to attend.

National Pregnancy/Infant Loss Day
Community Memorial Service
National Pregnancy/Infant Loss Day Community Memorial Service and Candle Lighting will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City (the cemetery behind Burger King) on Oct. 15. Corinth Baptist to hold revival services
Corinth Baptist Church will be holding revival services on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 6:00 pm Monday, October 13 thru October 15 at 7:00 pm nightly. The guest speaker will be Brother Mark Wagg. Pastor Bill Morefield and the congregation invite everyone to come and worship with them. Corinth Baptist Church is located on Deer Run Road off Highway 91 toward Damascus, Virginia.

Women’s Conference at Central Baptist
Central Baptist Church will be hosting the Annual Women’s Conference on Saturday, October 11, 2014.  The conference will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Dr. Brenda Robinson with New Desire Ministries from Aragon, GA will be the guest speaker.  Sister Brenda has written numerous songs and 9 books as well as teaching women’s conferences in 4 countries and 3 continents. The ladies at Central Baptist would like to invite all the ladies of our community to this special event.  The church is located on Highway 421 (2430 South Shady Street) across from the Food Lion shopping center.  For more information, you may contact Jahala Thomason at 727-5013.

Homecoming Service at Central Baptist
Central Baptist Church will be having their Homecoming service on Sunday, October 12, 2014.  The church was organized in October, 1985 and we are celebrating 29 years of ministry.  Southern Gospel Group, New Desire, will be singing during the 11:00 a.m. service.  A covered dish meal will be served in the fellowship hall immediately after the morning service.  Everyone is invited to come worship with us at our Homecoming service.  The church is located on Highway 421 (2430 South Shady Street) across from the Food Lion shopping center.

Sugar Grove Baptist to hold benefit singing
There will be a benefit old time 4-part harmony Gospel singing featuring Sugar Grove choir, Willow Valley singers and Oliver family on Sunday night, October 12th 2014 beginning at 6:00 pm for Reverend Alan Koch, pastor of Sugar Grove. He has pancreatic cancer. Everyone welcome. He covets your prayers.

Roan Creek Baptist apple butter making
Roan Creek Baptist Church will hold their annual apple butter making on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 8 a.m. until ?. We have Cinnamon or Allspice, and the cost is $5.00 per pint. Little Doe Baptist Church to hold revival
Come join us at Little Doe Baptist Church for Revival October 19-22 with Rev. Gary Edwards. Services will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, and at 7 p.m. Monday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 22.Little Doe Baptist Church is located on Hwy 167 (Doe Creek Rd.), just off Hwy 67. Calvary Baptist to hold fall revival service
Calvary Baptist Church will hold their fall revival service on October 12 at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm and October 13-15 at 7:00 pm nightly. Guest preacher will be Brother JD Grant. There will be special music nightly. “Turns us again, O Lord God of hosts.” Ps.80:19.

Victory Chapel Cowboy Church homecoming
Victory Chapel Cowboy Church invites you to their homecoming on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 10:30 am at 917 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City adjacent to the Mountain City Care Center for old fashioned worship service, dinner and special music throughout the afternoon. There will be no Sunday night service.
