Seventh-Day Adventist church
to host meeting on the
relevance of creation in evolution debate
A special meeting giving answers to evolutionists and students who encounter them will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 6:00 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1231 Cold Springs Road in Mountain City. Students as well as churches often don’t have all the answers when they enter the evolution debate and face ridicule, media bias, and censorship over and over. Jim Gardner, CEO for Canopy Ministries, will be the speaker and share insights to help Christians maintain their faith in the Biblical record and know how to give an answer for that faith. Gardner works with the organization, Answers in Genesis and the Institute for Creation Research. He will be sharing two lectures, The Relevance of Creation, and Fossils, the Grand Canyon and the Flood. Gardner first got interested in this work as the theory of evolution began to be thrust into prominence in the classroom and has been presenting lectures of 17 years. The public is invited to these free seminars and refreshments will be served.
