CBM’s Released Time Education
It’s not too late to sign up your youngster. Make sure your child continues to join over 1,100 Johnson County students as they enjoy Children Bible Ministries’ Released Time Education Program (CBM Time). Fill out a permission slip. Johnson County is one of four counties in East Tennessee sponsoring Released Time Education with over 4,000 students enrolled.
CBM’s community ministry provides Bible chapels for all five elementary schools, the Middle School and the High School, grades 1-9. Chapels are held in churches of four different denominations with volunteers from twice that many denominations.

First Free Will Baptist Church
Youth Center to hold yard sale
First Free Will Baptist Church Youth Center will hold a huge yard sale, bake sale and hot sale on May 4th from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm, rain or shine. The church is located at 319 Hemlock Street in Mountain City. The hot dog combo includes a hot dog with all the fixings, chips and a drink. We will begin selling hot dogs at 11:00 am. Evergreen Baptist Church to hold revival
Evergreen Baptist Church will hold a revival April 29th through May 2nd at 7:-00 pm nightly. Brother Phil Arnold will be preaching. Tony Potter is pastor and everyone is welcome.

Revival at Central Baptist
Evangelist T.D. Burgess will be preaching in revival services at Central Baptist Church the week of April 28-May 3.  Sunday services are at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and service time for Monday through Friday is 7:00 p.m.  There will be special singing at each service.  Sunday evening, Lindsey DeBord: Monday, Faith Trio; Tuesday, Alan Yates Family; Wednesday, Pine Grove Choir; Thursday, Josh Jones Family; and Friday, Fletcher Family.  Pastor Rick Thomason and the congregation invite everyone to these special revival services.

Mission Benefit Project Saturday May
 A mission benefit project is underway locally to help fund a mission trip for J. D. Chaplain, son of Darin and Teresa Chaplain and grandson of Derl and Gladys. McCloud. J. D. is an upcoming junior at Brevard College, Brevard, N.C. He attends school on a baseball scholarship. He is a pitcher who injured his throwing arm and spent a year in rehabilitation and is now back on the field.
J. D.’s college pastor and other young people want to share their faith with the people of Vancouver, BC Canada. They will be leaving in early June. To help make the trip possible for J. D. a huge yard sale, bake sale, and a silent auction featuring F all day music and singing. Hot dogs and burgers will be available Saturday, May4 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Old Mill Music Park in Laurel Bloomery.
If you would like to participate you may do so by attending the big sale or by making a mission contribution, or by contributing cash or merchandise for the sale.  Anything you do will be greatly appreciated since it will give a young 20-year-old man the opportunity to practice serving our Lord.

Mission Benefit Saturday

Mark your calendar and plan to attend the all day Mission Benefit Saturday, May 4 at Old Mill Music Park, Laurel Bloomery.
Activities begin at 8:00 a.m. with a Big Yard Sale, lots of Baked Goodies, a Silent Auction and a 50-50. As the day
progresses, Richard Greer, Kevin McCloud, Teresa Chaplain and others will provide lots of good music and singing.
Hamburgers and Hot dogs with all the fixins will be available. All sales and contributions will benefit J. D. Chaplain who will be on mission to Vancouver, BC Canada in June. Come early, stay late and enjoy a great event.
