Just five months into the collegiate cross country career of Hannah Witt, progress is already being made.
Having recently run her personal best in her last meet, the former JCHS star is switching her attention to track as the that season began last week at Niswonger Invitational.
Witt was a trendsetter at JCHS as she was the first cross country runner to make the state meet.
Now, she is adjusting to college life and getting use to collegiate running.
“It was a learning experience, but I feel I finished pretty strong with a P.R. of 20:29,” Witt said. “There were some injuries but now I feel stronger and I am really looking forward to track season.”
Witt has been under the tutelage of King coach Peter Dalton and now she is really beginning to improve.
