EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY ETSU-Office of the President- Department of Internal Audit - Internal Auditor - Level 9 -111270. Position available January 4, 2010. Responsible to the the Director for assisting with audits of all phases of university operations, including the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy. Audit activities consist of determining the accuracy of financial transactions; compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations; and presence of internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field required with 2 years auditing experience preferably within a university setting. Experience with computer-based information systems required; possession of or progression toward Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
