PATSY HARMON McNULTY -

Mrs. Patsy (Harmon) McNulty, age 64, 110 East E Street, Elizabethton died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of Gedar G. and Virginia Lee (Smith) Harmon, Butler, TN. Mrs. McNulty was a postal clerk with the Johnson City Post Office. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to read, cook and crochet. Mrs. McNulty was a U.S. Army veteran.

Mrs. McNulty was preceded in death by a niece, Brenda Allen in 1988. Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Daniel McNulty, Mountain Home, TN; three daughters, Annette Garland and husband Earl, Butler, TN; Anita McNabb and husband John, Bristol, TN and Stacey Morriss and fiancÚ Butch Booth, Elizabethton; a step-daughter, Patricia Bird and husband Jason, Florida; four granddaughters, Shea, Ehlena, Casandra and Sammie; eight grandsons, Dana, William, James, Nick, J. Michael, Dillon, Daniel and Logan; a great-grandson, Kaleb; a great-granddaughter, Audrey; a sister, Glenda Greer and husband Larry and a brother, Glenn Harmon and wife Kathy, all of Butler, TN; a very special mother-in-law, Alice McNulty, McKinney, TX; a sister-in-law, Celeste Hardin and husband Cliff, Texas and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Mrs. Patsy (Harmon) McNulty were conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Alan Koch officiating. Music was under the direction of Mr. John McNabb, soloist. The family received friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service or at the residences of her parents or any of her children at other times. Graveside service and interment wereconducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 23, 2012 in Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Earl Garland, Butch Booth, James McNulty, Dana Matherly, Nick Lawson, William Matherly and Larry Greer. Honorary pallbearers were Dillon Morriss, J. Michael McNabb and Daniel Booth. Military honors were accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard.
