SHIRLEY J. MABRY -

Shirley J. Mabry, 72, of Limestone Tennessee died at her home on Sunday, April 17, 2011

Born May 2nd 1938. She was a native of

Mountain City. Daughter of the late Edward Milton and Julia Mae Treadway. She was preceded in death by Brothers: Dub Dunn, Jimmy Dunn, and Howard Dunn and Sister Irene Treadway.

She attended Johnson County High School and spent many years in Memphis TN before returning to Mountain City.

She is survived by five Children: Howard “Chip”

McJunkin of Limestone, TN, Lori McGinnis of

Limestone, TN, David Hightower of Doe, TN, Sara Pope of Jonesborough, TN, and Bill Hightower

of Piney Flats, TN. She is also survived by two brothers: Sonny Treadway

of Mountain City and Joe Treadway of Knoxville, TN, as well as one sister: Dorothy Canter of Mountain City.

She has eleven grandchildren and two

great-grandchildren. She has numerous cousins, nieces

and nephews.

The funeral service for Shirley J. Mabry will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, April 22, 2011 in the Mountain City Funeral Home. Pastor Wayne Lambert will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday prior to the service.
