Community Foundation invites local nonprofits to apply online for grantsApplications for the Johnson County Community Foundation Fund, an Affiliate Fund of East Tennessee Foundation (ETF), are now being accepted. Applications are currently available online at www.easttennesseefoundation.org. Nonprofit organizations with projects or programs benefiting Johnson County residents are encouraged to apply for one-year grant awards.
Johnson County Community Foundation Fund (JCCF) supports endeavors that build community goodwill, seek to solve community challenges and produce results improving the quality of life for all citizens of Johnson County. Available awards for the 2014 grant cycle will generally range from $500 to $2,500 in support of projects, programs or activities beginning in May 2014. JCCF applications must be submitted no later than February 10, 2014.
Created by a group of Johnson County residents in 2001 to serve the people of their beloved county, Johnson County Community Foundation gives donors a way to connect their giving with local nonprofits, public agencies and compelling charitable causes. JCCF, established as a permanent endowment, provides an on-going resource to fund endeavors creating opportunities and addressing challenges for all Johnson County citizens.
East Tennessee Foundation, established in 1986, is a regional community foundation serving 25 counties in East Tennessee. With the mission of enriching lives and strengthening communities, ETF administers 13 Affiliate Funds, including JCCF.
Eligible applicants must be located within and/or serve Johnson County and be tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations or other exempt entities such as public schools. Guidelines and applications for JCCF are available on ETF’s website at www.easttennesseefoundation.org.
